if by "brought it up" you mean that I suggested we give time to each of these games instead of getting into a pissing contest about which series is better, then yes. I brought it up.
A daily schedule seems far too ambitious for this group.
actually sevin, who started the thread is a very ambitious person. And a very POSITIVE person. You should check that concept out.
What the hell is YOUR problem? All I said was that I think there should be less Capcom and more MK and you jump all over me.

Your obvious snottiness aside, daily meetups aren't realistic. Many of the people here have jobs and/or families and/or college to attend to and can't make the time to meet up every day to play games. For busy people(most of us), a weekly meetup is far more manageable, and wont result in one or two people showing up each time.

I'd like to do this too, but its clear from that mvc3 topic months ago that just about everybody is on psn.

Not that I couldn't be as well, but I have or intend to get the 360 versions of these games.

I'm not complaining or anything, if I can't play then I can't play. Just wanting to see where everybody's at.
I only play on the 360, this could be a problem.

How did he jump all over you? Noise has been nothing but reasonable in this thread, while I have noticed that you tend to get confrontational when it comes to fighting games. So cool it a bit.

And as seven said, this is for SSF4. If we think we want to have a general "Fighting game meetup" thread then we can do that.

no it doesn't.
Not confrontational at all, nope. Immediately telling someone that they're wrong when they give constructive input is the most helpful way to solve problems for sure.

I'm excited about the idea, and excited about other future thread titles.

There is no doubt (all) these games are more enjoyable when playing people we know and are friendly with.

In regard to unrealistic time schedule, no one is saying you HAVE to be there each night, it's not a commitment, it's just an idea, if your available, come play, pretty straightforward idea.

With that said, before the network went down for a bit, sevin and I were playing almost every night for 2 straight weeks and having a blast.

Anyways, i'm tonight for at least an hour or two.

Surely less confrontational than someone jumping in a Street Fighter meet-up thread and saying that the meet-ups need less Street Fighter.

He broke your post up, and ultimately agreed with your main suggestion.

Obviously I was talking about the proposed weekly schedule and its HUGE capcom slant. Maybe people want to play something from another company more than once a month.

The main suggestion was less capcom, more MK, so no he didn't. So I try to explain myself, and get literally nothing but snotty, insulting posts. How can you even defend those responses?
