The sale didn't go bad because there was no sale. Therefore nobody got ripped off so what difference does it make. Byuu was smart enough to figure things out and didn't lose any money good for him. If you get ripped off you are partially responsible for not paying attention to where your money goes

The thread was locked from the get-go and only moderators are able to post/respond in locked threads.

I don't think he wants to invite any criticism in his own forums.

Oops, I forgot I joined this forum after making this thread and reading the replies! anyway, here's a follow up.

I ended up not buying anything from assembler. I mean, if he attempted to pull off something shady with byuu (someone known on the internet), who knows what would happen to me (a nobody with no power and influence)?

i study a little bit of politics and foreign affairs and all that. generally, the person who has nothing to hide, won't hide anything. while the person who has something to hide (for example, authoritarian governments like china and north korea and america for that matter like wikileaks) will do what the can to suppress information or lock down debate on it.

as far as i can see, byuu tried to be transparent as possible. in contrast, assembler acted china/america-like: http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/sh ... hp?t=33130

that's text-book information suppression right there, with moderator circle-jerking as the icing on the cake.

anyway, thanks for the replies so far in this thread.

ASSEMbler's "rebuttal" is horrible. He skirts the issue and addresses approximately zero of byuu's claims. The mod circlejerk was just pathetic.
