I have to admit that when Home first launched, I used it to harass people quite a few times haha. There used to be open voice chat though, so it was pretty damn funny.

When I had to "download" the mall or whatever in Home, like 1-2 sections outside of your apartment or whatever, I quit. Screw that.

Never had a problem connecting yesterday and downloaded the update in 5 minutes. Took about a half hour to get my email though.

We’re currently experiencing an extremely heavy load of password resets, and so we recently had to turn off services for approximately 30 minutes to clear the queue.

As such, a large number of people are attempting to change their passwords at the same time, it’s taking longer than expected for all those emails to clear all of the ISPs.

If you’ve requested your password reset, please give it a bit of time to reach your email. Thanks for your patience as we work to get everyone back online.
Um... No fucking shit? What did they expect? Seriously why is Sony this retarded. They should have KNOWN there was going to be unprecedented demand to change their password, fuck they, REQUIRE it upon installing the firmware and logging into PSN. Seriously, do the maths here Sony. Take the amount of PSN accounts, adjust server capacity to suit. This is shit they KNEW before switching PSN on.

Incompetence thy name is Sony.

Hey cmon, look at the brighter side of things. Thousands of people can get back to playing online like they've wanted to these previous weeks. Playing MVC3 online with 7 different people felt pretty good, and everyone seems happy about it.

Appreciate the good stuff that's happening, the negativity can wait till later. Yeah I haven't been online since the crash, but it seems like their trying to get things right, and they've finally brought up online services for the players.

Now that some PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been restored and you’re once again enjoying online gaming and entertainment, we’re happy to provide details about the “Welcome Back” appreciation program for customers in North America. We developed the program as an expression of our gratitude for your patience, support and continued loyalty during the service outage. From all of us at PlayStation, thank you and welcome back!

This package will be made available to all existing registered PlayStation Network and Qriocity users in North America (US and Canada), and will be made available shortly after we have fully restored the service. More specific details about these offers and eligibility requirements will be posted as the services go live.
