so, what's is that one game that you seem to be preoccupied with? that obscure title that isn't even part of your favorite genre that just calls out to you? that you can't resist?

mine's Go Go Beckham Adventure on Soccer Island for GBA. dunno why since it's clearly geared towards younger gamers, but i can't seem to put it out of my mind. It's fun to play through and pretty to look at.

Counter Strike Source, Team Fortress 2, and World of Warcraft.

Don't really care much about the respective genres but I managed to put in 300+ hours into TF2, I imagine around the same for WoW. Counter Strike Source I've only got 70 something into.

metropolismania 2, a super quirky and low budget city/relationship building game that on pen and paper sounds absolutely boring. but when played can be super addicting. made but the folks at natsume. god they are good at making the seemingly boring, fun.

I used to be absolutely obsessed with Bust-A-Groove when it first came out, and I do not know why.

Other than that, I can't really think of any game I've been obsessed with and not known why.

Mario Tennis GBC

Just an awesome game for the GBC that I can play over and over. I don't like sports games, not even Mario ones.

I absolutely love the Ghosts 'n Goblins series, but I wouldn't give a single one of the games higher than a 3 out of 5 (not counting spinoffs). I really don't know what attracts me to these games, I suspect it must be something visual.

most likely Tetris Attack (aka Panel Del Pon), but recently i've been obsessed with SFA2 for the Saturn.

on my list would be Tekken5dr, MK2, and Shenmue.

Tekken5dr- i think because i love seeing how many combos/juggles i can imitate from watching pros on youtube.

MK2- just trying to figuring out next to impossible air juggles.

Shenmue- just roaming same old streets and seeing all the possibility of speech and daily routines of the towns folks. Also i feel like its a living world that i must go visit and wonder around
