They hunger dreamcast port

Post by CantStrafeRight »

They hunger is a zombie themed single player mod for half life. You can read about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/They_Hunger

I've been working on porting the mod to the dreamcast on and off (mostly off) for the past few months and I felt it was time to tell people about it. (This means that people will complain if I get lazy and that will motivate me to work on this)

Currently its playable but there are alot of bugs.

Heres some screen shots of it running.

OMG I love all of the They Hunger games... or anything zombie related for that matter. So good job, and good going in the future!

Darkstar for the dreamcast is possible as well and would probably have less bugs than they hunger.

I'm a huge Darkstar and Neil Manke fan. Count one more anonymous internet user that would love you forever if you released them!

Theres only one more change I want to make before I releases a beta version so you can expect one in the next few days if all goes to plan.

So what kind of bugs are you experiencing? Little things like sound and graphical issues? Or game-crashing problems?

Sound glitches : Yes but they are fixable
Graphics gliches : None just now
gameplay glitches : Some cant be fixed but they dont stop you playing the game
Game crashes : Sometimes the game does crash but Ive not looked into it yet.
