What RPG are you playing right now?

Got the sixth Crystal Star in Paper Mario Thousand Year Door (GC). Cortez was a pretty hard boss. Now onto a train mystery type thing for the next crystal star. 20 hours in

The train mystery is my favourite bit.

Actually, the penguin murder mystery was my favourite in the original, i guess i like the interesting shift in your mission.

TYD is the only Paper Mario I've played, but I enjoy it a lot. I've heard mostly negative things about Super Paper Mario, but I plan on getting the N64 one eventually. I also need to go back and finish Super Mario RPG.

I have a few RPGs i'm playing right now including Radiant Historia, Breath of Fire 3, Ar Tonelico, The Dark Spire and Atelier Annie.

I am very close to completing Radiant Historia, I feel like I have been playing it forever, but I have really enjoyed it so far. One of the newer RPGs I have really been impressed with. I will probably pick up where I left of in Atelier Annie after I finish this one.

On the console front, I just started Breath of Fire 3, as it is a game I have wanted for a while. I'm trying to work my way through Ar Tonelico as well. It is not the most engaging game in terms of game play, but I am a big fan of all the strange and bizarre sexual references. Yea I admit it.

If you get past the lighthouse on Breath of Fire 3 let me know. I have been stuck trying to time that damn machine for months! Also, take the time to level Pico once you get him. That little guy is a tank.

It seems like many fans prefer BoF3 over BoF4 but I don't know why, story wise I thought BoF4 was way better and pretty damn dark at times. One of my top favorite JRPG's for sure.

I have started Super Paper Mario but haven't gotten back into it for awhile. Mainly because I prefer playing handhelds over consoles. Paper Mario 64 was fun and I had a bit of an adjustment period in the beginning because the graphics were a bit of a shock after playing TTYD. But I adjusted and enjoyed the game very much. Of the two, I think TTYD was better.

I also need to go back and finish Super Mario RPG.

Ditto for me. Super Mario RPG seems fun but I think Paper Mario 64 & TTYD were better. Anyone else agree with me?


At the moment, I'm playing Chrono Trigger DS. I'm currently in the future, 2099 AD and am working on the Eastern part of the continent. Great game so far.

It's an awesome bizarro comedy rpg cocktail.

Just finished Radiant Historia today. It was an excellent game and certainly a contender for a hypothetical top 20 list, if I ever chose to create one.
