DS Lite to be discontinued?

So the Japanese DS Lite that I recently ordered from http://www.japanvideogames.com/ arrived today.

One problem, it's not Japanese. It's actually a Chinese region system, complete with Taiwan box and manual in full Chinese. I am returning it to them and I will buy a DS Lite from someone who doesn't lie to me.

So the quest for a new Japanese DS Lite continues...

Wow. I guess I won't be ordering from them ever. Not that I probably would have, but now it's a definite no.

It was probably just a mistake on their part. It looks like they have Japanese, Chinese and American regions of DS Lites and they sent me the wrong one. It still creates extra hassle for me though.

Ehh no big deal. I have a total of three ds's: dsi, ds lite, and dsi xl (purchased in that order).

The whole thing with the gba I understand completely that it sucks but again no big deal for me, I kinda went overboard and bought four gba micro 20at anniversary editions jp model, plus I had one lying around. I'd buy up gba systems really, any of them will do as prices may go up but I'm no expert.

I have a backlog of about 50 gba games so I got that all covered.

Earlier in this thread I told the story of how an online store called Japan Video Games sent me a Chinese region DS Lite when I ordered a Japanese one. I had to post again and clear their name. I was able to return the DS Lite and they gave me a full refund, including the cost of shipping both ways.

They made a mistake but they handled it responsibly so please don't hesitate to give them your business. I will probably buy from them again myself because of how well they handled the situation.
