Best Saturn game between $10-$25
Been wanting to build up my Saturn collection beyond the stuff that came bundled with it when I bought it. Im looking into something that has good multiplayer and a good amount of action, for instance Im looking into buying Three Dirty Dwarves but Im still on the fence about it.
Any advice would be great

Re: Best Saturn game between $10-$25
I'm genuinely not sure about US Saturn game prices, but I got Virtual On for dirt cheap and it's a great little mech arena fighter. The vs multiplayer is quite fun too. I imagine if you're into fighting games, the likes of Virtua Fighter, Last Bronx, Fighting Vipers and perhapos Fighters Megamix shouldn'tcost you too much either.
In a different genre, Worms is always worth picking up if you don't have it yet.
Cheap saturn games can be a tricky prospect, because a lot of the greatest ones are in such high demand they can go for a pretty penny. Personally I'd have recommended Guardian Heroes as the best choice for your needs, but the price point is almost certainly a good bit above $25. Saturn Bomberman too.
As for other suggestions, I dunno. Maybe Sonic R? Lost Vikings 2 (no idea on the price for this, might be expensive). If you're into puzzle games there's always Baku Baku.

Clockwork Knight 1 and 2, Nights Into Dreams, Resident Evil, Astal, Die Hard Arcade, Panzer Dragoon 1 and 2. I found Duke Nukem 3D and Alien Trilogy to be fun. Your popular titles like Guardian Heroes, Saturn Bomberman, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shinning Force 3 are going to cost you. A little pricier but a good one is Shinning the Wisdom. Pretty neat game. Also I like Three Dirty Dwarves.

These are all great suggestions, but they're not really great for multiplayer. If the OP is interested in some single player games though, it's worth a look at some of these.SuperAnthony64 wrote:Clockwork Knight 1 and 2, Nights Into Dreams, Resident Evil, Astal, Die Hard Arcade, Panzer Dragoon 1 and 2. For multiplayer and action get Die Hard Arcade. It's great.

My Saturn collection is inconsiderable though you can get Virtual On (a great multiplayer fighting game?) for dirt cheap. Street Fighter Alpha 2 is another great game to play with friends..
Your better off checking out Racketboy's article though, this should help you out.. http://www.racketboy.com/retro/2007/03/ ... -your.html

Do Japanese games count? There are loads of great Japan-only Saturn games that can be had in this price range.
Re: Best Saturn game between $10-$25
I got Vampire Savior for $10. Doesn't get much better than that. That game and Die Hard Arcade were the reasons I got a Saturn. (Though, DHA cost me around $30 at the time.)
Also, keep a look out for lots. I got a lot of SFA2, Marvel Super Heroes, Night Warriors and Battle Monsters for $20. Damn good deal.
And Three Dirty Dwarves is quite fun.

Re: Best Saturn game between $10-$25
Well thankfully I got Lost Vikings and Clockwork Knight 2 in the bundle, so that just leaves the question of when to get Three Dirty Dwarves, which Im really psyched about getting now
and if I ever find Guardian Heroes in the wild Im jumping on it!
Galactic Attack looks like the game to get me back into shmups, and I think I'll take a gamble with Panzer Dragoon as I've never tried it out but heard nothing but good things.
Also, anyone know of a list of Saturn ports that were better than other platform ports, because I am interested in getting Resident Evil but I kinda want to stick to 2D for the Saturn.
