NES games as movies

They aren't father and son. It's just that Mario is significantly older than Luigi and essentially raised him. They are probably brothers, but I guess they could just use the term to describe their relationship if they're very close cousins or something. But yeah, I'm pretty sure they are intended to be brothers in the movie.AznKhmerBoi wrote: in the movie you finally get to know Mario last name and Luigi and Mario are father and son.

You know The Goonies (and Goonies II) for Nes are based off the movie Goonies right?virginsteele wrote:Hi guys,
I was just playing the Castlevania series last week I thought it would do a great movie.
So I started a list about NES games with that in mind. Games I thought:
Contra
Battle of olympus
Castlevania
Ninja Gaiden
Goonies![]()
So, which NES game would you like to see as a Movie?
Anyways I would like to see:
Zelda
Contra
Castlevania
Metroid
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

they should make a movie based on the NES game Friday The 13th. It would be kind of like the Friday The 13th movies, except in this one there would be a couple of kids that walked extra slow. And Jason wears a sweatsuit.

Yeah I remember that stuff about Paul WS Anderson and I was really dreading the movie.
...then I found out about this.
...certainly looking better than it did before, I can say that much.
EDIT: wait, after digging some more stuff up, sounds like the movie is pretty much in development hell and that Paul WS Anderson is still circling the project. Eww.
