[PS3/360] Lost Planet 2 online meet ups thread

Hell, I wouldn't blame you. Also, this outtage has made me realize how much I rely on PSN's online service. Even if I'm playing single player, I like being logged in just incase people wanna talk or something. Playing and being offline feels a little weird to me.

You all need to play Vanquish, which I have been enjoying the past few days. It is everything in a single-player experience that I wish Lost Planet 2 could have been. If LP2 is good, then Vanquish takes some similar elements and makes them great. It has better controls, better graphics, and more visceral gameplay than LP2 while retaining that same "fun, over the top, and crazy" vibe.

Unfortunately there is no multiplayer in Vanquish.

I wouldn't exactly say unfortunately there's no multiplayer. I loved the demo, and I feel it's a lot of fun because they focused on the single player. Imagine how chaotic and frustrating it would be in multiplayer.

But yeah, this outtage has also let me enjoy a lot of my single player games I haven't played in a while, mainly Resonance of Fate.

It's no big deal. I've been playing through stages on Extreme with a 3 man AI crew. They aren't worth much but they give the enemy something other than me to shoot at. I have about 4 missions left before I complete the difficulty. At this rate, I will have unlocked the Servbot head by the time PSN is back up and running. At least, I think that's what you unlock for beating the entire game on Extreme. Or maybe it was one of the question mark skins the loading screen guys sport.

Edit: Well fiddlesticks. You don't get the ? suite or the Servbot head for completing on Extreme. The Servbot head only appears if you have Lost Planet data saved. The ? suit comes with the Boss Rush DLC. LAME.

edit: nothing but Xbox 360 versions of the game. And LOL @ Gamestop. LP1 is going for 19.99 used while LP2 is going for 17.99 used. Wow...

Give it some time. Bayonette got pretty cheap on PS3, probably due to the 360 version being better, but I'm sure Vanquish will get pretty cheap too. I'm waiting for it to drop to around $20 bucks, because I'm so cheap.
