Its refreshing to see that even after a big war, the Racketboy Cycle is still in effect.
This topic is now so far removed from its original purpose that the first discussion might as well have not happened at all.
Go Team!
Also, I blame Obama (I'm not sure what for at this point in the topic), because its fun to be contrary.

By the way, did I mention I was born on Easter Sunday, 1977? (just trying to keep some semblance of thread relevance)

And those ears? He's got everyone fooled. They're clearly radar dishes.

Re: Happy Easter!
Am I the only one, who has watched 2 live slaughters (goats both times) and didn't even blink? (except when something broke, and something disgusting happened)
Also chicken slaughter is funny as hell (you cut down their heads, and the body keeps moving), but I haven't seen it live.
I don't know, it's the circle of life and all. I'll never eat an endanger species animal, nor hunt or eat wild animals which were hunted down, but honestly when I see pigs in the pig pen, all I can think of is that they taste much nicer on the inside, than they look on the outside.
Though I did feel bad about the goats/sheep, cause they are cute. Yes as I've said I'm a pig racist.
And about the milk, I drink fresh milk, which is from free herding cows. Perhaps that is why our milk is the most expensive in Europe.

Why would you be opposed to hunting if you eat meat? I eat very little meat, but I have absolutely no problem with hunting as long as the animal's meat is not wasted. That really is the circle of life - going out and getting your own food.ZeroAX wrote:Am I the only one, who has watched 2 live slaughters (goats both times) and didn't even blink? If a wild animal is killed by a hunter, it probably still led a better life - and certainly a more natural one - than an animal that was cooped up in a pen until it was large enough to be hilariously slaughtered before a gallery of onlookers.

Re: Happy Easter!
Because most wild game (is that the correct way to say it?), like deer is an endangered species (at least their Greek population kind of is).
On the other hand, if it's something like rabbits, or birds, go ahead kill all you want.

Its odd for me to think of deer having a limited population.ZeroAX wrote:Because most wild game (is that the correct way to say it?), like deer is an endangered species (at least their Greek population kind of is).

Around the western part of town here, nearer to the mountains, it's not unusual to find deer tromping around in your backyard, crossing streets, and just generally wandering around and oblivious to the people.
