You know at one time Iced Earth and Nightwish were unquestionably my two favorite bands. It seemed a funny coincidence to me when I found out that they BOTH had done a Phantom of the Opera song. Fun to compare the two, though I have to give the nod to the Nightwish version personally. As awesome as Barlowe is, he can't match up to the duo of Tarja and Marco on vocals

Amon Tobin has a new album. I'm streaming it now through his website:

He ranks as one of my top ten favorite musicians of all time. This new album sounds particularly adventurous.

I'm a bit behind on listening to these, but check out the Rag N Bone stuff. Lots of mixes to listen to as well.
