Some of my vocal performances as of late, feedback...

Post by kingdomheights777 »

Hey guys just a quick description of what your about to watch. These performances are from a production that we put on every year at our church help raise money for missions, called DESSERT FEST, we don't shove what we believe down peoples throat that come though. Its a 3 night event, every year for the past 15 years is a different "theme". I would like for you guys to watch them and give your opinion, I know that some of you guys won't care for the style or what not. But still give your honest opinion. Thanks

First one is from 2010 , theme was "Animal Fair"
Def Leppard's "Rock of Ages"

and these are from March 2011
Theme was "Big Eighties"

Whitesnake "Here I go again"

Journey "Faithfully"

A-Ha "take on me"

lol and yes this next one is different
Garth Brooks "the dance"

Watched Take On Me as I like that song. Very nice job with the range and the falsetto bits. It might have been the recording, though the music lacked a little punch, but the singing was very well done sir. :)

i listened to about 30 seconds of the journey one, and i think you sound a little forced, but very technically proficient. it's lacking that steve perry "magic" but it's not like you're a bad singer. it just sounds like you're focusing a lot more on the technical aspect of the performance than the performance itself. gotta have that FEELING man!

it's been a long time since i've been in any kind of chorus so i can't really pontificate on it like i should be able to, but yeah. nice job with them and i'm sure you'll continue to do well.

this was my last vocal performance so what the fuck do i know anyway haha.
