So to do it properly is there a particular way of burning? Or does that have to do with how the ISO is originally put together?

It has to do with how the data is set up on the particular rip you're using. So yeah, it has to do with the ISO.

Yes, there are MANY games that are not well suited for this method, as the transfer rate is not fast enough for many games to load, but there are games like HeadHunter and Skies of arcadia which play perfectly from Dreamshell and the sd cards.

RE3

Headhunter

I mainly use mine for a Homebrew channel so I can play my Shmups and emulators on.

Chui has recently updated all his emulators to be compatible with SD cards, and Snes4all is the fastest emulator ever, and clearly beats Dreamsnes! And that is all from an SD card!

More info here.

Aldo don't forget to read my SD card thread.

I agree with you. Yeah, the laser has to work more, and when the data is put on the outer rim of the disc, it does less moving, thus is less work, and in the end makes the system last years longer.

Tux has made Dreamcast games quieter than even the original GDR in some cases, and has even decreased the loading time of games like Half-Life, which was 30 seconds loading per level, is now down to only 15 seconds, MUCH shorter than the lauded 2 minuet loading times in Solder of Fortune, and Half-Life was considered one of the slowest loading Dreamcast games at one time, nowadays it is not so. ;)

Thanks for the info man. I'll definitely be looking into one of those SD cards.

Is there anyone doing similar work to Tux?
