Re: Supaboy - New 3rd party SNES handheld
It's got so much potential! I completely geeked out to my wife just now. The idea is just so cool and it's not some random modder guy, it's gonna be available to everyone! I just hope it's not a horrible knock-off that's incompatible with half the library and sounds nothing like the game it's supposed to sound like.

Re: Supaboy - New 3rd party SNES handheld
I'm interested to know how good/clear the LCD ends up being, but I gotta say I'm not too fond of any handheld designed without a clamshell. Chamshell handhelds get far fewer screen scratches in the long run and can be designed to be more compact when you don't have to conisder the space for controls and a screen.
For anyone would would rather check out the one that's currently on the market, here's my duel written/video review of the Yobo FC-16 GO.

The fact that this system is only 80 dollars, and most stores sell used yellowed SNESes for 40-50, I might just buy one.

That's pretty awesome that they used Romancing Saga 3 to show off an SFC game.

I heard about this today. Pretty cool.
My only issue is that it'll cost $80. I think I'll wait for a price drop, and in the meantime, I might go after an NES handheld.
