Hello forum!
I've decided that I should expand my horror film collection and start collecting horror games for Sega consoles, as well! So I'm trying to compile a list of all the horror themed games for the Sega consoles! Since there are a lot of games out there (but sadly not that many horror themed) I feel the need to ask others for games that they've come across!
My list, so far:
Master System
Adams Family
Ghost House
Master of Darkness
Dracula
Mega Drive/Genesis
Adams Family
Adams Family Values
Castlevania Bloodlines/New Generation
Dark Castle
Decap Attack
Devil Hunter Yohko
Dracula
Haunting, starring Polterguy
Splatterhouse 2
Splatterhouse 3
Zombies
I would really like your input, if you can think of any!

Re: Horror for Sega!
Do you only want them for cartridge-based Sega consoles, or would you like Saturn and Dreamcast titles? And are imports ok, or do you only want titles from a specific region?

I plan to expand my Sega collection with "newer" consoles as well, in the future!Ack wrote:Do you only want them for cartridge-based Sega consoles, or would you like Saturn and Dreamcast titles? And are imports ok, or do you only want titles from a specific region?
So any horror themed game on any Sega console, regardless of region!

Re: Horror for Sega!
I'd have to recommend Blue Stinger and Carrier for the DC then. Although not very scary, they're fun survival horror games.Jungell wrote:I plan to expand my Sega collection with "newer" consoles as well, in the future!

There's also the D series (D, D2, Enemy Zero) spanning across DC and Saturn, but I never liked it very much.

There is a couple of Resident Evils on the Dreamcast and Saturn. Evil Dead for the DC.
Actually there must be dozens of horror games for the Dreamcast.

I reccomend The Ooze for Genesis. It's a fun game with a killer soundtrack. The Ooze reminds me of the movie Swamp Thing.

Sure. Here's a few off the top of my head:Jungell wrote:I plan to expand my Sega collection with "newer" consoles as well, in the future!Ack wrote:Do you only want them for cartridge-based Sega consoles, or would you like Saturn and Dreamcast titles? Sega Saturn
D
Dark Seed
Dark Seed II
Deep Fear
Resident Evil
Dreamcast
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
Blue Stinger
Carrier
D2
Dino Crisis
Evil Dead: Hail to the King
Illbleed
Nanatsu no Hikan: Senritsu no Bishou
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Resident Evil: Code Veronica
The Ring: Terror's Realm
Now if you want horror-themed, there's also always things like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night or Corpse Killer.

I'm going to second The Ooze. Game gets hard as balls too. Just the way it should be.
Older. Not wiser.
