I recently bought a PSP-3000 with firmware 6.20. I've installed a homebrew emabler that temporarily puts 6.20 TN-D on the system. It works with every emulator I've tried, but totally crashes on the GBA emulator uo_gpsp_kai_3_4_test_1_build 2.
Whenever I attempt to boot up any game, the PSP will freeze, and crash. I've got the GBA bios file and I know there's nothing wrong with the set up. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? Is there a newer. better GBA emulator for the PSP? Thanks.

Re: PSP 3000 6.20 TN-D GBA emulator crashes
I've never had problems with it on my 3000 model.
I don't know why it's not working for you, maybe a bad bios file?
Also try this GBA emulator:

Get the "Signed" one and you won't even have to worry about the HEN. If it still doesn't work, something is definitely wrong with the bios.
Good luck!

Re: PSP 3000 6.20 TN-D GBA emulator crashes
I was never able to get GBA emulators to work on 6.20, which is why I upgraded to 6.35 and used the PRO HEN instead. Soon as I did that, the GBA emulator worked flawlessly.

Hmm, weirdness.
I haven't tried that signed GBA emulator yet (just learned about it and downloaded it)
But Nowadays there's a good amount of homebrew emulators that are signed and eliminate the need for CFW or HENs altogether. I find that there's less issues with signed eboots.
The other ones I know of are for NES, GB/GBC, Sega Master/GG, Genesis, Atari, N64, SNES.
Feel free to check out what's available Here (the emus are mixed in with the other homebrews).

Re: PSP 3000 6.20 TN-D GBA emulator crashes
i have some experience in softmodding the psp 3000 with TN-D and i use PRO now. a few things. one, you could try giving 6.35 PRO a try. to update to 6.35 just ask me. if you don't like it, there is a way to downgrade back to 6.20...but use at own risk. actually, i believe there is a 6.20 pro out now, two version exists. one that is a permanent. i wouldn't recommend this as there is still a chance of a lot of issues with it. the other is a softmod just like TN-D.
