I remember trying to play this on PSP once and had the same problem. I'll have to get the PS1 out of storage one day to play this.

yeah when googling I found that people had the same issue when swap-discing or when trying to play it on PSP.

I'm going to make an eboot from an original disc and will report back.

Guess you never heard of Table-of-Contents

At the beginning of the disc there is a Table-of-Contents (TOC, also known as "System File" area of the disc), which stores the start positions of the various tracks, as well as information about free blocks.
So these table of contents load when you are loading the swap disc? Then when you put the game in you are running the game without this information? I thought the only thing being read when the swap disc is in is the missing blocks.

I was able to get it to work on my PSP using Jinn's eboot. Now I have to figure out what went wrong when I made mine. I have had the freezing problem with a few other eboots that I made such as Duke Nukem. However, there were a few that I made that I had no issues such as Ape Escape.

too bad you can't make a PS1 ISO from an eboot.

works for me too, jinn with yr eboot... how did you make it? Did you do anything special? I'm wondering if you did anything to the ISO that we could have used to make a special PS1 ISO version?
