baseball cards

Post by raztat »

I found a lot of baseball cards up in the closet. Some are in hard plastic case things, is there a site I can go to to see what they are worth?

Pay $5 for a Beckett, it WILL pay off if you are looking to sell the cards.

This is not true, they are just worth less money. And I think you mean authenticated, because to be notarized something must be verified by a legally appointed notary public and this really only applies to legal documents. Oh and many times when you sign up for a Beckett subscription they will give you an offer to get one or two cards graded, this is another completely different process where a company determines what state the card is in (mint, near mint, etc.) and can greatly increase the value of the card.... may be useful to know, may not be.

I used to love my Becketts. It was the thing I looked most forward to each month.
On a side note, if anybody wants to buy some BB cards, lemme know :)
I'll take offers way below book value!
