Post by Onyxthecat »

Can anyone tell me which games from the N64 were ported to the Gamecube? Heres what I have:

Here's a loose release line.

In Japan:
Dobutsu no Mori (N64)
Dobutsu no Mori + (GameCube) Port with added content.
Dobutsu no Mori e+ (GameCube) Enhancement of last game. Adds e-reader support plus some other stuff.

In North America:
Animal Crossing (Dobutsu no Mori e+)
---------

I think "enhanced port" is a better word to use rather than "remake". They touched up the visuals a little and added content but it's essentially the same game.

Can you explain this? I'd like to play some of those on my GC.

The Emulator from the Gamecube Zelda Ocarine of Time was unlocked to accept other N64 Roms. A mixed bag of which ones actually worked at a decent speed. Sorry no link, Google.

Cubivore was originally a DD64 title, then was moved up to the GC. Star Fox Adventures was originally going to be Dino Planet, Rare's last N64 game. Finally, Eternal Darkness also started development as a late N64 game.
