I always that was more of an enhanced remake/sequel thing.Opa Opa wrote:Animal Crossing...

Here's a loose release line.Betamax001 wrote:I always that was more of an enhanced remake/sequel thing.
In Japan:
Dobutsu no Mori (N64)
Dobutsu no Mori + (GameCube) Port with added content.
Dobutsu no Mori e+ (GameCube) Enhancement of last game. Adds e-reader support plus some other stuff.
In North America:
Animal Crossing (Dobutsu no Mori e+)
---------
I think "enhanced port" is a better word to use rather than "remake". They touched up the visuals a little and added content but it's essentially the same game.

Can you explain this? I'd like to play some of those on my GC.
Re: N64 ports on Gamecube
The Emulator from the Gamecube Zelda Ocarine of Time was unlocked to accept other N64 Roms. A mixed bag of which ones actually worked at a decent speed. Sorry no link, Google.Satoshi_Matrix wrote:Can you explain this? I'd like to play some of those on my GC.CRTGAMER wrote:There is also Zelda Ocarine of Time Master Quest

Re: N64 ports on Gamecube
Cubivore was originally a DD64 title, then was moved up to the GC. Star Fox Adventures was originally going to be Dino Planet, Rare's last N64 game. Finally, Eternal Darkness also started development as a late N64 game.
