There's no reason to not just jump ahead and play Link's Awakening DX. It's the exact same game, only prettier and with one or two extras.

oh yeah I meant to say that too. Yeah, just play DX. Same game, extra dungeon and great colorization.AppleQueso wrote:There's no reason to not just jump ahead and play Link's Awakening DX. It's the exact same game, only prettier and with one or two extras.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that instead actually. What are the best sites to go to for walk throughs for Zelda games? I usually use gamefaqs.com but I don't always like the way they lay things out for you on their walk throughs.
I also noticed when I was playing Link's Awakening for a little bit last night that monster on the ball chain in the village looks exactly like the Chain Chomp monster from the Mario bros. games. Is it? Also, how long before I get my sword? I know I only just played briefly and it's very early in the game but so far I just have a shield. Just curious.

I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

YES! The Chain Chomper! I love that part. There's a lot of Mario references in Link's Awakening.

I really need to get a working cartridge of Link's Awakening DX.
I had ordered it a couple of months back and of course something was wrong with it. At first I thought the battery was dead; however, the game itself was corrupted. I did get a refund but it is very frustrating when they say the item saves and it clearly isn't working.
