Super Mario World Hack/Lunar Magic

Hey I recently downloaded Lunar Magic and started teaching myself how to edit levels in Super Mario World.

I was wondering if anyone here has experience using this or something similar to edit Super Mario World. I have the general grasp of it for now, but I am sure I will need some help in the future and I haven't found any helpful guides online.

One of the main problems I have is certain sprites and tiles from the tileset aren't displaying properly. Does anyone know why this is or how I can fix it? I have tried a few different ROMs and the same thing happens to all of them.
