I just ordered it with my $25 coupon from Amazon, along with a DS mini-backpack that I get for free with another promotional credit. It looks really good, I like that it's download-play, and I'd rather support a new idea than go at SSIV3DS or Pilotwings.

In other news, mine apparently has arrived! Too bad I have to wait until the office opens up at five...:x

The reviews I saw compared Shadow Wars to Xcom - which makes it a win in my book

I saw a comparison with VC, but VC or X-COM, both are good. I'm getting my copy today.

Steel Diver consists of three separate smaller games. The first is the periscope mode, where you shoot down enemy ships. You can control with the buttons or the touch screen, and can turn by using the gyroscope or the stylus. Enemy ships will attack you, so you do have to dive to dodge their shots. It's a fun little diversion.

The second is a series of 7 levels where you pilot a sub to the end and do objectives along the way. It's a side scroller, somewhat similar to Hunt for Red October on the NES. It's much more sim feeling, though. You control the depth and speed using sliders on the touch screen akin to how you've seen subs piloted in movies. As a result, you have to deal with intertia and other things and it makes it much more immersive.

The third is a turn based strategy game I haven't tried yet.

Steel Diver reminds me of a shmup. Just imagine controlling a submarine instead of a fast jet/ship.

I bought SSFIV, Steel Diver, Pilotwings, and Ridge Racer. All four of em are great. Each are completely different genres, so it's hard to compare. Steel Diver requires a bit it patience, though, but it is still fun.

How is Super Monkey Ball? I was thinking of buying that tonight. All I have is SSFIV, and I'm getting bored with it. I wish Kid Icarus was out already.

I'm waiting on Pilot Wings Resort to come in the mail otherwise just playing with the included AR games while I wait. I considered several other launch titles but most I already have another version on another console like Street Fighter IV so I rather wait for some new different games. 8)

Lemme ask you guys, how is the 3D treating your eyes? I'm sure everyone is aware of all the buzz going around stating that it creates some discomfort and headaches. Anyone experiencing things like that?

I can't focus properly on the 3D when I have a lot of light. I have to play it in the dark to get the most out of it. The 3D hasn't given me much grief yet, although I have noticed my eyes aren't focusing properly on 2D screens after playing the 3DS after a while. Because the focal point of your eyes is behind the 3DS screen (it's like peering into a window rather than things coming out at you). My eyes sort of get used to that focal point and then when I look a 2D screen I have to refocus my eyes, rather than trying to look through my screen.
