does anyone else buy used clothes at the thrift store..

.. because of games [sorry for not putting it all in the subject but it didn't fit]

I frequently check my local thrift stores for games... but like, a lot..

so much that the workers already know me by name.

then, one day, i was looking through the same piles of garbage and i saw a shirt that i thought was cool. at the time i wasn't into buying used clothes and the idea was gross to me.. but it was $2 so i was like "Why not!".

now i buy ALL my clothes from the used thrift stores and i haven't bought any new clothes in like months, all thanks to my gaming : )

I know I'm not the only one who checks his thrift stores for games.. has this happened to anyone else?..

I do occasionally. I've gotten some decent gaming deals as well, a broken Psone with a controller and memory card for $4. I also got soviet strike for $8. One time I bought an old CRT monitor for my Doom computer when the old monitor crapped out for $3.

yea sometimes when i looking for retro games i would go through the Tshirt aisle because sometime they got some neat t's

Yes I do. I'm currently in possession of about 5-7 sports coats all from thrift stores. None of them cost more than 10 bucks, and I can't find a single thing wrong with them.

Sometimes I do. I found a pretty neat 1994 Pink Floyd tour shirt that was a couple of bucks. I tend to get stuff I need for cosplay at thrift stores as well. So yeah.

When I'm the first person looking at the men shirts I always get someone who (man) tries to look into my side of clothes. I try to hold up for a long time because the person is trying to cross into my section of clothes. Even women try to do the same thing in the mens section. I hate when people but in my section. I'm always finding good retro games.

I buy all my shirts, jackets and jeans at the thrift store. I use the same clothes for work & at home so after there's a hole in them I throw them away (OK my Terminator 2 shirt has a small hole, but it's too cool to throw away just yet). I prefer the feel of broken-in clothes anyway. I find many great video game deals at the thrift stores.
