I wish you guys could have been there. We will set up something for a day when more people can come soon.

It's cool. I was having too much fun playing games to worry about video and pictures. Man, you were a natural at Guardian Heroes.

The weekend of April 2nd might be bad for me. What did you have in mind in terms of the meet-up activity? Pinballz?

Pinballz would be a good place to hang out. My 5th year anniversary is coming up on Friday so this weekend is definitely booked for me as well.

phaedrus has graciously ordered buttons and will donate them to Pinballz so that we may have a working KOF XI cab. So... get ready.

Buttons should be in today or tomorrow at the latest. Will hand em over to Al on wed and than we have to wait to get em installed. The buttons are matched to neo geo plus a white. now the colors don't match exactly but you get the gist. the buttons http://www.lizardlick.com/Yenox-Pushbut ... p_565.html nothing to fancy both happs they have now are crap.

Oh.....cool idea, phaedrus. That was a very nice thing to do for the arcade and its community. Most folks would just complain that the controls are broken and not do anything to help. Very cool, man.

What do you guys think about some kind of unofficial event to celebrate the release of the final version of Street of Rage Remake?

Question: this is a PC-based remake, right? It's not the sort of thing you can burn onto a disc and play on, say, a Dreamcast, right?

If it is a PC-based game, I guess we would need a laptop or something if this meet-up was "out and about."

I'm interested in the idea. I could see how we could expand upon the Streets Of Rage love and gather as many versions/sequels of the game as we can.

Yeah, a Windows laptop with TV out should suffice.
