Dreamcast Keyboard Not Working

Just bought a keyboard for the Dreamcast and the system won't recognize it.

I've tried the keyboard in every port with no luck, but all the ports do accept a controller.

Anything I can look for?

Check for corrosion on the pins of the plug perhaps. You might also open it up and see if the cord has been yanked where it attaches to the board.

Thanks Hobie, it was indeed the pin connector inside the keyboard. After seeing the inside it's hard for me to imagine how that came unplugged.
