What are you listening to at the present? (genres helpful)

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I don't know what it is about this song, but it is the one of the most covered songs of all time
There's a damn good reason. Grieg was an amazing composer, and he's not given enough credit for it.

I highly recommend March of the Dwarfs by him. I've played this on the piano for four years and it never bores me. Something about pounding the piano gives me adrenaline. :P
LOL

In the Hall of the Mountain King seems like a living breathing thing that just keeps evolving with time as more and more artists discover it. I guess that is the mark of truly classic music and a truly gifted composer

Violent by Design- Jedi Mind Tricks

One of my favorite albums of all time and probably the one that will be most remembered from the group. The raw delivery of Vinnie Paz and Jus Allah is something that I heard and it just instantly blew my mind. I never really heard anything like Heavenly Divine before when it comes to lyrics but it just the production from Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind that is the centerpiece of the album because its just solid and flawless. My favorite track is Blood Runs Cold featuring Sean Price because the chorus, lyrics, and production add up to this anthem that stuck with me since the first listen. There's no doubt that what they rap about is offensive and I can't justify any of it. The whole album is 'politically incorrect' because of the slang of homophobia, anti-Catholicism, and anti-government tones that it has and even with this and how I understand how its offensive in every way but to be honest I just can't stop listening. I wouldn't recommend this album to people that are weary of the Rap genre but I would to people wanting to hear something raw and real from the mentalities of rappers from the turn of the millennium.
