Pick me a Fable

Hello...

I am trying to play 1 Fable game but I am confused between all 3
Which would u say is the pest to pick up and play?
I hear the first is too short
the second is the best
and the 3rd has issues

Probably wouldn't hurt to start with 1 since it's so short.

Play them in order, I quite like the series and am currently playing 3, they get better as they go along (my view) so if you played a later one then played and early one they would feel like they were missing a lot.

Fable 1 is a fine game. Most of the criticism is because it didn't live up to what was promised, not that it fails to be a good game. It compares well to other action adventure RPG hybrids on the Xbox, such as KOTOR or Morrowind.

Make sure you play The Lost Chapters version. There's enough added to make it worth playing, but not enough added to make it worth playing if you've already played the original version.

It's definitely the best in the series. Don't know why it gets a bad rep, it's a great game. It's just not the 'greatest game ever' that Molyneux promised. That's Molyneux's problem though, he always over hypes his games. He should just keep his trap shut.
