Mannnn... I really wish I could make it to that.

Do you know if Sharky or any of his pals would be interested in going? They seem like action movie guys. I had watched Inglorious Basterds with them at their house after one of our first meetups.wip3outguy7 wrote:Mannnn... I really wish I could make it to that.

I wonder if I could convince my lady friend to tag along...
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Wow, that could be a really tough sell.....Flake wrote:I wonder if I could convince my lady friend to tag along...
See, if it was Aliens, you could point out the brave female lead character, the rescue of a little girl, and the evil Queen.......hmmm, when I put it that way, it almost sounds Disney.

Talked to Sharky and friends and they are hitting a lot of SXSW shows that day.

All signs point to me starting work next week so put me down as a definite no-show.

Thank you much! If all works out, missing a couple meet ups will enable me to stay in the area for many more future meets.Redline9 wrote:In the grand scheme of things, that's actually good news.
