Re: 3DS Graphics
another thing to add is that i wish turning 3d on/off does not effect the framerates
I hope newer models of the 3ds will fix this issue.

Re: 3DS Graphics
The frame rate changes if you turn 3D on or off? If that's the case, your "fix" would only make things worse. I'd rather have a better frame rate with 3D off, than have a worse frame rate for both of them.AznKhmerBoi wrote:another thing to add is that i wish turning 3d on/off does not effect the framerates

It takes twice as much power in 3D mode because the 3DS has to produce 2 screens at once. Why not take advantage of that and have a higher frame rate with 3D off?

If you plan to switch 3D on and off very often while you play, that would make sense I suppose. Otherwise, I can't think of a good reason why you would like having a worse frame rate for both.AznKhmerBoi wrote:personally i rather have the frame rates the same wether the 3d is off or on . I'm not sure they can without making it put out 120 fps by default, which id ridiculous. As far as I can tell, in 2D mode, they're sending 60 frames a second to both eyes, but in 3D mode they're alternating the two images sending one to each eye at 30 fps each. To do 60 fps 3D would require 120 fps 2D.
