Don't Pokemon games hold their value pretty well? And aren't bootlegs kind of a problem when trying to buy them online? I'd say the pokemon games are worth going after if they're legit copies.
Yeah that's my point. Get them in stores where you can see if they are legit or not, and for $20-30 as appose to the prices when online becomes the dominant way to buy GBA games.

So it could be several months after April before the final big discounts are taking place?

I'm not too upset, compared to other game stores in town the Gamestops around here charge a lot for GBA games. I don't know how it is elsewhere but I've had my eye on picking up a copy of Mario Bros 2 for GBA. One of the retro stores in town wants $10 for one while GS wants $20.

As for GC games I have no idea what they're going to do. I'm thinking the backwards compatibility with the Wii is the big thing but by that logic they'd still sell oXbox games :?.

Here in Colorado I haven't seen them carry GBA, GameCube, or Xbox stuff for at least a year. They are currently removing their PS2 inventory as well.

the PS2 thing makes the least amount of sense to me seeing as how you can still buy brand new PS2 consoles everywhere.

It's going to be a sad day when the masses can no longer pick up a cartridge-only copy of Golden Sun (with the gigantic yellow sticker, mind you) for under 12 bucks...

I did one round so far this past Friday.

I managed to snag:
Drill Dozer - $FREE (I had a $5 PowerUp rewards coupon)
Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer - $2.69
Gunstar Super Heroes - $2.69
F-Zero Maximum Velocity - $2.69

Now, they have nice new homes in DS game cases. I just ordered the manuals for all of the games mentioned above and will print out covers for them from "TheCoverProject".

I'll probably make another round this week at two different gamestops. One of them has Metroid Zero Mission & NES Classic Metroid, which I really want to get since I have Metroid Fusion already.

I have a bunch of extra DS cases (some already cut for GB carts) if anybody needs some. Just putting that out there. But I'm planning to only really sell em in bulk to justify shipping.
