Not even Majora's Mask?
I'll let you know when I play it. I know some people here love it. I have a copy of Wind Waker I might try this year. I started playing it once and lost interest but I plan on giving it another shot. If that goes well I might try Major's Mask too. Metroid Prime is on my to do list too, Nintendo first party titles that have been in my backlog for too long
I don't hate Zelda. I think Ocarina and TP were not bad. However, the story has been a weak spot for me in both games. I didn't mind so much in the 8-bit and 16-bit days, but when Zelda stepped into the modern age I thought the stories would get better. I expected a lot from TP since it was the newest one. However, Midna's story didn't quite work for me when all was said and done

I loved Okami and I preordered Okamiden at Gamestop so I could get the paintbrush stylus... but I don't have a DS yet but perhaps thanks to this new confounded "3DS" device prices for the DSi will drop to a more affordable range for me and I can finally get one. Though, this is probably a good time to mention that there aren't many games at all for the DS that interest me... even the Zelda games oddly enough. Handheld systems have always been that way for me... I'm stoked to play Okamiden tho, when I can.
I'm stoked to pick this game up this month, as I've been LOVING my ds, giving it the attention it deserves. Also, off topic, but I've been playing my ds and psp but the Psp isn't grabbing my attention as I thought it would. I might sell it and buy some more ds games

I finished the first boss of the game and well...it's pretty much everything Okami was. The main difference so far is your sidekick fits into the gameplay more than Issun did in the original. Also, the localization job they did is pretty lazy.
Otherwise, I'd say anyone who liked Okami will feel right at home

So I'm having a lot fun with this one but have to give it a minus for one thing. It's stupid new combat rank system that makes use of a grading criteria called partner help. Basically this forces you to find a way to bring your sidekick into battle, which can only be done through long melee combos which do little damage, can be blocked and leave you open to attack. Apparently, they thought this was better than rewarding players for smartly hitting enemies with celestial powers they are weak to and taking them down with speed and efficiency. Cause who doesn't like a ranking system that rewards you for fighting stupidly just so your sidekick doesn't feel unimportant and cry
Sigh, stupid developers
