I used to be pretty into the sport. I loved scenario play, not that speed ball crap or capture the flags and what not. A team of 4 to 5 in the woods vs. a team of 10 in an abandoned office building to retrieve Intel. I have a Tippmann A-5 but it had problems last year and I got it fixed but stupidly never seen if Tippmann actually fixed the problem. I stopped a couple of years prior to the broken marker. But now it works and I want to get into it again because my sales manager wants to get a group of people going.
Even though the marker works I have the older A-5 so I went on ahead and purchased an entire set up with the New and Improved A-5 Marker with the Flatline barrel, stock, and some pods and holders.
Anyone else into paintballing? I'm no pro to begin with but I figure I'd ask.
Anyone into Paintballing?
Re: Anyone into Paintballing?
Nah, I used to be into airsoft though. Paintball is too much of a hassle.

I used to play paintball. I liked playing a regular game: two teams in the woods; referee gives the signal; fun ensues.
Speedball was alright... Ultimately speedball comes down to who can shoot the most paint the fastest. Not really fun when you can't afford to shoot over 1k of balls per game.
The last game I played my gun broke so now I'm retired. I may get another gun in a few years. Or maybe not. Along with gaming, it's a really expensive hobby. And I think I like gaming more than bruises.

Re: Anyone into Paintballing?
I LOVE PAINTBALL!
My friends and I would go into the woods and just have all out war. It was great. Something broke in my gun the last time we played and my friends all started having problems with equipment too. We let it die out.
Soon afterward we picked up Nerf guns and started playing Nerf Wars. It is less expensive. (Less painful as well.)
I love having an excuse to shoot at people.
