HELP: My Model 2 US Saturn lost audio!

So my copy of Darius Gaiden from a trade came in the mail and out of shmup excitement I go to play and the system is not outputting any audio on either channel of the rf connector for any official release game I try. I also put in a music cd with the same result. The games function 100% fine otherwise. Is this just a bad RF cable, or do I need to gut it open? The audio functioned fine the last time I turned it on about three weeks ago. I also tried unplugging the cable a couple times with no luck.

I'd try another video cable. It's at least a good excuse to upgrade and get away from that rf adapter. Go at least for composite...it'll probably fix your audio problem and even if it doesnt, it'll look a lot cleaner.
