PSU from a US Sega Saturn work in a JPN Sega Saturn ?

howdy Saturn Scene , i was wondering if a PSU from a US Sega Saturn would work in a JPN Sega Saturn and vice versa.

any insight is appreciated

It should be fine as long as it fits. Offhand I'm note sure if it was changed between the different revisions.

Since the frequency is the same, and I'm pretty sure the voltage is the same, it should work. But as the last poster said, see if anything was changed between the several revisions in the Sega Saturn, on the back is should say the Amps, and Volts used, and if they're the same it should work just fine.

hi team thanks for the responses............before i attempt to replace a PSU in the future i will do the checks as you both described.

They will most likely fit.
I exchanged a PAL into a JP. Saturn.
Most important. make sure they are both either model 1 or both model 2
