Yeah, I forgot about the Turbo CD. I don't own one of those, wish I did, I just have the main TG-16.brunoafh wrote:More or less mirrors mine, pretty surprising to see. Double-take worthy. King's Field II (US) is probably one of the most under appreciated games of ALL time, let alone one of the most under appreciated titles on the PSX. In all honesty, the only thing I would do differently is swap Mega Man Legends with Metal Gear Solid.GSZX1337 wrote:1. King's Field II (U.S.)

edit:Yeah, a list is definitely doable. It would have to be a PC Engine + Super CD (and other attachments) though. PC Engine is a beast. I don't think I'd be able to shoot off 100 off the top of my head personally, but I could easily do 50+.BurningDoom wrote:Uhhhh, can you really get a top 100 of TG-16 games? TG-16? Nope. Less than 100 games came out in the US. There are 94 to be exact.BurningDoom wrote:Uhhhh, can you really get a top 100 of TG-16 games? Are there 100 good games on it? I own one, and I don't think I could come close.
If you add in the PC Engine and add-ons, there are 735 games. That is almost as many as the NES!
I could probably come up with 100 good games off the top of my head.
That's great! Do not buy a Turbo CD add-on. A much better option for you is to by a PC Engine Duo (or Duo-R, or Duo-RX, or PC Engine/Super Grafx plus Super CD-ROM2 add-on). You will have access to Japanese PC Engine HuCards, plus CD-ROM and Super CD games. CD games are region free!Yeah, I forgot about the Turbo CD. Words of truth, I have a Duo and it gets more attention than half of my consoles. A huge library of fantastic games from all genres. Classic two button gaming with 16 bit gfx and redbook audio. Doesn't get much better.Breetai wrote:That's great! Do not buy a Turbo CD add-on. You can get a 6-button controller if you want.brunoafh wrote:Words of truth, I have a Duo and it gets more attention than half of my consoles. A huge library of fantastic games from all genres. Classic two button gaming with 16 bit gfx and redbook audio. Doesn't get much better.
The PCE is probably my favourite system, other than maybe the Saturn.

Re: Let's Name the Top 100 Playstation (Original) Games Together
I have a PCE Duo-R luckily. No six button controller, but I do have the SFII port. It's not quite as fun with two buttons... but still kind of fun, in a way only someone like myself could appreciate. I'll get a 6 button one of these days.Breetai wrote:You can get a 6-button controller if you want.Of course, if you have an un-modded US Duo, it's pretty much pointless! Street Fighter II' CE is an import HuCard game (not region free), and I can't think of any 6-button CD games really worth importing. Konami has an alright fighter, but it's not really that great. The Neo Geo fighters are all Arcade card games, so they can't be played on a US Duo anyway without mods.

What's the Konami fighter by the way?

Martial Champion. What's the Konami fighter by the way?
It was a complete cash-in on Street Fighter II. It was basically a rush job. It's too bad, because Konami definitely had the resources to put something great together. They just... didn't. It's a very average, although good looking, game. I used to own a copy, but sold it eventually.

Huh, the CD games are region free? This is very interesting news to me. I thought I'd have to buy both a Turbo CD and a PCE CD if I wanted to play all the system had to offer, but as much of it as possible in English.
Also, it's really weird I missed the top 100 SNES games. I'm gonna go find that list and add the ones I've played to my previous post. It didn't show up in View New Posts for me
