I really wanted to put something together at Game Over on Wed or Thurs next week, but checking their schedule shows a pretty full list of events (thanks SXSW). So maybe we could shoot for the 23rd or 24th around mid day and play as late as they will let us and maybe drop by Pinz or UFO after. I was just going to bring the Saturn, Dreamcast and some random games and let people play what they want. Just casual.
David has made it pretty clear that Saturdays are out of the questions (too much customer traffic) and my current schedule has me working Sundays. No vacation time to take off for now, either. I would be happy to help set up a Sunday meet, but will not be able to attend.
Edit: I sent David an email just now to see if the gaming area is free on the 23rd or the 24th. If you guys have any other ideas, please speak up.

I am telling you - we need to have a NGPC meet up.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Oh snap! Well, we could do a straight up hand helds meet. I think just about everyone has a PSP. I need a new analog nub for mine, though. I also don't have any games, but it is set up with CFW.
Re: Austin, TX Racketboy members' meet ups
A PSP meet up would be great if we got everyone on board with the same games. Metal Gear Peace Walker and Phantasy Star Portable would be my recommendations.

It's all about multiplayer Shinobido. Assassinating you friends in public has never been so much fun.

Got an email back from David. He says a 1 - 4 or even 5 - 8 meetup on Wed 23rd or Thurs 24th would be possible. What would you guys like to set up?

Good to see there's at least other people in Austin to meet up with. Houston is dead.
