I've been sooooo wanting to get this game and I just haven't managed to get around to it yet. :( I've got my eyes on the game+controller package and hopefully by the time I get my next paycheck that sucker'll be mine.

I have had a friends copy for a while (actually months) but outside of playing some single player (and not too much) I have not played too much as it is a game you really have to dedicate to, and at the moment I cant.

Wouldn't trying to team up with people from RB be an issue because everyone would be such different levels \ have different equipment?

Here are the major issues:
1) Time- This game takes a lot of time. Some monsters take at least 30 minutes to kill so whoever is playing needs to make sure that they don't have anything planned. Maybe we could set up specific days to play?

2) Level differences- Quest are based on rank so low-level players cannot join in on high ranking quests. I seriously need to recheck this but I think you can join in on arena matches. Or if I'm wrong they are probably based off rank as well.

3) Difference of equipment- When online you should try to stay out of each others way. For example, when I play as a bowgunner there are a couple of bullet types I cannot use because I can hit other players very easily. While this doesn't hurt anyone; it does stop people dead in their tracks. Nothing is more annoying when you charge up a good hit with a sword and someone hits you and makes you miss.

Didn't realize racketboy had a Monster Hunter forum.
ID: 2PKEWF.

Looks like it's been a while since anyone's posted but here's hoping.
Currently I'm HR 11.

I'm still playing the game so I'd be happy to hunt with some fellow Racketeers. My character's name is Damien (F3JTBL), Hunter Rank 93, and I primarily use Long swords, Great swords, and Switch Axes. I've been getting into Hammers and Bowguns lately as well. I have no problem hunting with lower rank hunters.

I can only play until the 17th or so, when I'll be leaving home and away from my Wii.

I have the game but haven't created a multi toon yet. I've been really anxious to play this lately.

Count me in!

Will update my Wii info here shortly...

I'd be willing to join, but I've spent about 95% of the game offline, so I'm only HR 1. :?
Let me know if that'll be okay, otherwise I'm fine with sitting this one out.
