Saturn ISO+APE Help Plz.

Post by OldstyleHxC »

Hey yall , i recently modded my saturn and wanted to record a few games ...but could only record games in mds (alcohol format).

Now a friend gave me a few dvds with games on it , but as "ISO+APE [TOC CONFIRMED]" ...im going nuts .. cuz i cant record them , i´ve downloaded an APE to WAV converter .. converted the tracks just fine .. created a new CUE using sega cue maker .. but the cue still cant be read , when i try to open the cue on daemon just to test the cue .. the same annoying msg pops up "UNABLE TO MOUNT IMAGE , FILE CONTAINS NO DATA" ( this happens wioth both cue files , new & old ).. what am i doing wrong? :(

Thanks in advance.

<rant>Why did they do APE? If you want lossless, just do BIN/CUE, it's much less hassle and storage & bandwidth is cheap now.</rant>

can you copy the contents of the CUE file? (open in Notepad)

I dont get it .. why the files says APE and the cue says WAV ... :?: :?: im really going crazy with this lol

Ive just recorded 3 games in ISO/WAV here , worked fine ... but the ISO/APE i still dunno what to do , hope theres a solution for that cheap ape .. cuz 90% of the games here are ISO/APE :( :(

Yeah , in Alcohol 120% , it fails right when its about to start burning.

In Daemon it wont even open ( new & old cue).

Maybe the ISO is bad? Have you tried a different game?

Yea Racket .. tried a few games , same crap :(

Anyway .. i was checking the sizes after conversion .. APE had a few megabytes (mb) , all the converted wav files got only 1kylobyte (kb) , maybe thats why?

Can anyone suggest me any good APE to WAV conversor ?

Thx for u guys patience untill now ^^
