If you think that's impressive, you should play the Adventure of Bayou Billy! It's THREE genres in one!
Systems: TI-99/4a, Commodore Vic-20, Atari 2600, NES, SMS, GB, Neo Geo MVS (Big Red 4-slot), Genesis, SNES, 3DO, PS1, N64, DC, PS2, GBA, GCN, NDSi, Wii

Actually, it DID come out Racket - for the Famicom in Japan.. Not over here in the States. :(
So technically, it's NOT an NES game..?
Ah! That makes sense.
I really wish there was a US version -- I love that game and I'm not a big fan of part 2

Just noticed this thread, and saw that 100 games have been listed. I was going to add Guardian Legend, but I am very pleased to see it's already on the list. (^_^)

I think I'll have to make my own personal list for my blog and give reasons for my picks. Some of the games chosen for this list would be cast out and others put in their place. Still a fun read guys.

Now I think it'd be interesting to see how many of these we've actually played ourselves, haha. Here goes...[quote="BurningDoom"]

Yeah, Base Wars is better than a lot of the games in here. I really like it.

Here's the ones I've owned or at least played on a real console. I bolded the ones I've owned:

1. Crystalis
2. Blaster Master
3. Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse
4. Ninja Gaiden

5. Tecmo Superbowl
6. Super Mario Bros.
7. Ghosts N Goblins
8. Mega Man 2
9. Bionic Commando
10. Contra / Probotector
11. Metroid
12. The Legend of Zelda
13. Kirby's Adventure
14. Blades of Steel
15. Dr. Mario
16. Super Mario Bros. 3

17. Metal Storm

19. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!
20. Little Nemo: The Dream Master
21. Final Fantasy

22. R.C. Pro-Am
23. Dragon Warrior
24. Double Dragon
25.Adventures of Lolo

26. Shatterhand
27. Faxanadu

29. Kid Icarus
30. Tengen Tetris
31. River City Ransom/ Street Gangs

33. Battletoads

35. Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
36. Startropics
37. Baseball Stars
38. Super Mario Bros. 2 (U.S.)
39. Mega Man 3

40. Kickle Cubicle

42. Life Force
43. Duck Tales
44. Bubble Bobble
45. Metal Gear

47: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III
48. Arkanoid

49. Jackal
50. Duck Tales 2
51. Excitebike
52. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game
53. XEXYZ
54. Double Dragon II: The Revenge

55. North and South
56. Cobra Triangle
57. Dig Dug

58. Chip 'N Dale: Rescue Rangers
59. Castlevania
60. Shadowgate
61. Bomberman
62. Gradius

63. Bases Loaded!
64. Deja Vu
65. Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos (such an awesome name)
66. Spy vs. Spy
67. Batman

70. Dragon Warrior IV
71. Ice Hockey

72. Clash at Demonhead
73. Pro Wrestling
74. Mega Man 6
75. Super C
76. Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (And yes, I actually enjoyed it. I like it better than the other 2 NES entries because of the RPG elements)

77. Maniac Mansion
78. Wizards & Warriors
79. Section Z

80. Adventure Island 3 (Much better than the more mentioned original, I think)

82. Duck Hunt
83. Princess Tomato in the Salad Kingdom
84. Star Soldier

86. The Goonies II
87. Journey to Silius (Raf World)

89. Mario Bros.
90. Vice: Project Doom
91. Elevator Action
92. Little Samson
93. Super dodge ball
94. NES Open Tournament Golf
95. Power Blade

98. Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom
99. Top Gun

Make sure you play Power Blade there Breetai. It's one of the best overlooked NES classics. I'd personally put it in the top 10 NES games ever.

I bolded that games I own/have owned, left the ones I've played but not owned in regular font, and deleted the ones I've never played.

I remember renting Power Blade back in the day. Why not? It made the cover of freakin' Nintendo Power!!! That is some serious status. 8)

I still wouldn't list it in the top 10. Those ten spots are all reserved for XEXYZ.
