How do I identify a model 2 from model 1? I guess I have to ask? :?
That is an EXCELLENT deal! Get it right away! The pictured Saturn has round buttons so it is a Model 2 console. The games it comes with are all top notch and a very high value.

Yes, that is an excellent bundle. I'd try and snap that up if I were you. Just one concern I have though, the person mentions that they often have to insert and reinsert their Action Replay cart in order to get it to work. As they mention, that could be that the contacts on the cart are a it dirty, but it could be that their slot is becoming worn out.

$15 shipping on that is really good. I wonder how high the bidding will go though.

Alright I'm in! Now I get to play the waiting game. 4 days of ebay bidding torture!! Thanks for the advice on that deal guys! I figure this is the hard part, getting a good package deal for the system. I can worry getting some of the games later. I'll admit I'm nervous! I think I'm 4-4 on auctions on ebay in my 10 year ebay career , usually I just go with the buy it now because the pressure of auctions is nerve racking sometimes, especially on a good deal like this!

Uhm, 60 bucks isn't that expensive? Maybe compared to something like Panzer Dragoon Saga and Radiant Silvergun, but I would hardly consider that "not too expensive" Just my opinion though. There are much cheaper games to play that are very fun as well. Though DoDonPachi IS pretty good 8)

But yeah, to the OP Saturn is pretty awesome like pretty much everyone here has been saying. I'm sure you will find some games that will tickle your fancy.

Well, if that falls through, here's a shameless plug for the Saturn I have for sale in my FS/FT thread. :P

It is Gen 1 though just so you know.

Yeah, the bidding war just went up to $120 so I'm going to have to bow out gracefully. :( I wish I could spend that right now but I have bills due over the next two weeks. Sucks. :x

I'm just going to look into something that has either just the basic set up (system, connections, controller, etc) or the basic set up with the Action replay or gameshark, which may be more challenging to find but you never know. I can always get games seperately since I'm seeing plenty of auctions for games.
