Anyone here into skating?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I thought that they are "inline skates" unless I missed something. Kind like Kleenex for a tissue or a Xerox for a photocopy etc.

Being a skateboarder I am not too fond of fruit booting. If youre gonna look like a queer you might as well use actual roller skates since they are at hilarious and awesome.

Pfft. Whatever. You know you got overexcited and peed yourself a little while watching the opening scenes for D2: The Mighty Ducks.

All rollerblades are inline skates, but not all inline skates are rollerblades. The brand "rollerblades" just ain't cool unless you sport them right.

Sporting them right includes neon headbands, kneepads, elbowpads, biking shorts, and preferably a midcut mesh t-shirt. In that case, Rollerblades can't be beaten. At least that's what my mom told me in 1994.

Didn't expect this to be about blades when I clicked on it, but I think inline skating is not quite as socially awkward in Europe... Anyways I've been skateboarding for about 10 years, but now I've switched over to mountain biking and snowboarding.
