I will admit I have not finished that one, somewhere on the overworld.

I'm much more excited for Versus.

Too bad we get FFXIII-2 this year, that inevitably pushes back Versus even more!

... :x

I beat FFXIII when it was new, it was... not very satisfying. Extremely cliche' and silly stuff. I just look back at the entire game and all I can really manage to say is "not worth it".

I have been trying to get back into it since I heard about XIII-2, however I cant seem to get into it for more than 15 minutes. Generally I will play until I get to a boss, die and not touch it for a month.

I just finished Terranigma on SNES, it was absolutely wonderful. I'm told America missed out on it because it came out late and had an esoteric theme that wouldn't go over well with all you Jesus-loving freaks (personally, I think the former was the decisive factor :P). If you've never played it, I highly encourage you to do so.
Now, I'm playing Legend of Mana on PSX which is nice because it's easy to zone in and out of. The storyline is incoherent so it doesn't matter if you stop playing for a month only to pick it up again later.

Terranigma isn't my absolute favorite, but bar none probably the most cinematic experience I've ever seen on the SNES. Absolutely amazing stuff, I just loved how the storytelling/scenes seemed way out there compared to the norm. It's odd the US didn't get it, the religious themes were heavy and that was probably it... yet we got other crazy Enix games like EVO (all about evolution), Actraiser (you pretty much play as God), etc. Enix loved that stuff back then.

Almost forgot about Actraiser, that game wasn't too shabby.

Started Mass Effect 2 the other day. Loving it so far (about 5 hours in).

I really want to play some old school RPGs this year, but I've enjoyed so many of the newer ones so much more...it makes getting into an old Square or Zelda game quite difficult to do :(

Hey, if I don't agree with a game's philosophical stance, then I won't play it. It is why have stayed away from Bayonetta, Xenogears (still unsure about Xenosaga), and the mainstream Megami Tensei games. It's not like I have a problem with anyone else playing it. I would appreciate it if you didn't marginalize the entire Christian religion into "Jesus-loving freaks". Even if you meant it as a joke, it was in poor taste, in my opinion. Still, I support your right to say what you like about Christians, I just don't appreciate your sentiment. I know I am one of the few. Christians that post here, so this will probably eventually start a flame war, despite that not being my intention at all; I honestly don't mean to be a dick about this. I'm just stating my opinion.

Arx Fatalis. It's a rip-off of Morrowind, but set in underground caverns. It's cool, though. Because I've played soooo much Morrowind that I can't play anymore of that particular game, but I want more of the same. So Arx Fatalis fits the bill.
