I can't wait to get playing soon. I just wish I could find some backup faceplates for it. They're impossibly hard to find and expensive.

Nice grab. I've been wanting one of those Fami GBs for a while. Sexiest GB color scheme EVER

I totally agree. I love the color scheme of the Famicom edition and the form factor of the micro. This is probably my favorite handheld. It's just a shame that it came out at the very end of the GBA lifeline.

Haha, how ironic; I got mine a week ago CIB (new  ) and am afraid to scratch it  Luckily I have another Micro to play games from.

Congratulations! I had one, too. Maybe my favorite Nintendo hardware ever.

I have another one as well, but I'm going to play the hell out of this one. I'm pretty careful with handhelds, plus there's no point in buying it if I'm not going to use it. I love collecting games, but unless I have memories behind what I'm collecting, there isn't a point for me.

My 2 cents:

Put a screen protector on that faceplate ASAP!

As cool and convienent as the swapable faceplates were, they scratch so freakin easily, and replacements are near impossible to come across online.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

I love the way the Famicon version looks. I ended up getting one on eBay a while ago for about $35 I think.
I remember Walmart was selling a TON of Gameboy Micros for $20-$30 back when they were fazing them out. And I didn't buy an extra for two :(

Do you know of any good ones? I normally hate them, but if I can get ahold of something good, I might reconsider.

Well, you can always go with a cheap DIY one by trimming down a iPhone screen protector, with how many there are on the market, they are all pretty decent quality. If you want a form fitting one, just buy a accessory kit or something on ebay, they normally run about $5 after shipping, include a case, charger, headphones and a screen protector:

I got something like that on clearance at a blockbuster WAY back when, and it works pretty well.
