SirJoshuaTimothy's Game Room

Post by SirJoshuaTimothy »

Hello everyone, I've been browsing this site for years but I'm new to the forums, so I thought I'd introduce myself and post some pics of my gameroom.

My cable management needs some attention but for now, I'm just happy its all hooked up and ready to play.

And this is my game shelf, which is going to need replacing soon since my roommate went on buying spree, but hey, I'm not complaining :D

Everything is easily brought up through a harmony remote, all you have to do is select the system. The only exceptions are the few systems routing through an A/V switch.

The only thing left to do now is to buy a lot of controller extenders to bridge the gap the 360 Kinect created between our tv and couch!

That shelve with the 2 computers seems ready to break.

Ditto.

Which Harmony Remote do you have? I recently bought the 700 and I have to say, it's very handy to have. I still need to tweak it because when I click on Wii or Xbox, the volume doesn't control the amplifier unless I select the amp. I want to sort of behave like it does in "Watch TV" mode where all the buttons just work correctly.

It's the 880 Pro. It took my roommate a while to get everything perfect, but now that it is, all we have to do is hit the help button when something doesn't work and the remote fixes it, its awesome.

It looks worse than it is. It got a little distorted from sitting in a basement with free weights in the center of it, I stood on the top shelf before we put it up and it held fine so I think we're good.
