Can one of you give me some information on these items?

Post by Cyrax_ »

I recently found my Sega Genesis. I have 2 games M.U.S.H.A. and something called Bloodshot that has MEGA DRIVE on the front which would indicate it's for the Mega Drive not my USA Genesis. How am I able to play that in my Genesis? Pics

The game may not be region locked, pop it in and try.

If it is region locked then you can do a simple mod (check out mmmonkey's website) if you know how to solder.

It does work. I've never tried doing it before or even owning these games. Are they worth anything?

The Sega Genesis, was only called the Genesis in the USA, in all other countries it was known as the Sega Megadrive.

It just mean's the copy of the game was from another region.

The two games in the picture are Sonic 2, which goes for like $1 and Bloodshot which goes for $10 - $20 if complete, yours is cart only so I would expect less.

I was comparing it to the USA cart. M.U.S.H.A. isn't pictured.

MUSHA is a vertical shooter by Compile and part of the Aleste series. It's one of the most highly sought after games for the Genesis. A loose cart can go for 50 to 70 dollars. A complete copy can go for 100 or more.

There is a Buy Sell section. But a good idea to keep the pics at maybe 700 across to keep the text readable.
