How much is a Famicom worth?

If you factor in the shipping cost that would've been paid, it becomes a bit more reasonable.

On Ebay, the prices tend to be around $60 for a Famicom, console only and probably with a little yellowing, to around $80 for a clean Famicom with mabey one game. I've also noticed CIB Famicoms on Ebay tend to go up about $100 in price, if not more. Considering you won't be paying shipping costs you'd be paying on Ebay, and assuming it's in good clean condition, this is a pretty descent deal.

mmm idk, I started looking on yahoo Japan and saw I could get a famicom with the disk system and some games for about 40 and below, i figure by the time it gets stateside I could estimate that price will double, still a better deal.

Are you sure this $40 one you saw wasn't the starting bid on an auction?
