SNES cart storage idea
Ok, I'm thinking of designing and then laser cutting a modular storage rack for snes carts. I have not chosen a material yet but it could be MDF or something more durable like ABS. The rack will have the nintendo logo on it and what ever else to make it more like Nintendo made it. I wan't it to be able to be added on to if your collection grows and it can be disassembled so it doesn't have to be packed as is. So I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestions or ideas for personalizing or customizability and maybe I can make a few if people want.

Re: SNES cart storage idea
Jus another idea, what about a storage system that also houses the snes and controlers?
Re: SNES cart storage idea
Have the carts facing down to keep the dust out of the contacts.
You could make individual "modular shelves".

Too bulky, you would need bigger shelves.Bradtemple87 wrote:No matter how many times I see the picture of CRT's collection my OCD tells me "Must Have Cases"

A shame the boxed ones were so hard to take care of, lol. I've only managed to save my OoT box, Rush, and a few others for the SNES. That's about it.Bradtemple87 wrote:No matter how many times I see the picture of CRT's collection my OCD tells me "Must Have Cases"

Weird. For some strange reason I thought of this.
Sandwich another layer on top to rest the console, slide the games in grooves between both layers, and you also have a spot to slide the controllers into. Or use the drawer design of these Lazy Susans.
