Old Sega Veteran just joined Assembler

Post by CRTGAMER »

Discovered this while waiting for the Racketboy page loads.
An interesting Dreamcast read over at Assembler.

Where's Anthony for some insight!

The GD-R Katana disc I'm drooling over:

DonnyK wrote:There is data, my computer says the disc has 548 megs total but all I see is a "map.miff" file for 4.6megs and an Audio .aiff track for 35.9megs. When trying to play the audio track it's just loud static. I don't know what is using that other space though.

Yeah, I've been following his thread for awhile. He used to work at Sega as a tester during the Dreamcast days and has been answering questions on unreleased games, sega history, etc. Interesting reading.

I don't know if I believe the guy's legit. He's being very unhelpful with verifying the contents of that Geist disc, I believe because he knows its a lemon.

Am I that much of an anime fan to think on that disk is a Dreamcast game of MD Geist.

Interesting read, keeps sending me into "what if" day dreams.

I just wish the Dreamcast had gotten Outrun 2...
